A Commitment to Learning

The COVE School is a co-ed chapter 766 private special education school located on a 53-acre site in scenic Plymouth, Massachusetts serving residential and day students ages 12 to 18. The COVE serves day students from the southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island including the Boston and New Bedford metro regions and residential students from throughout the Commonwealth, with interstate admissions accepted as well.

The COVE Mission

The COVE School’s mission is to advance every student’s academic, social, emotional, physical, and ethical development. The COVE School offers a wide range of academic, therapeutic, and vocational services to all students. At our school, students are challenged academically to achieve their greatest potential. With our academics, we offer various vocational opportunities. These opportunities include culinary, landscaping, equine science, carpentry, and more.

The COVE School includes an experienced and passionate team of clinicians and educators. Social workers, psychologists, and special education teachers are committed to helping students thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
